Sally Sarro Brownies

Ingredients:

3 squares Bakers chocolate

1 lb butter

1/2 cup flour

1/4 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

2 eggs

1 cup sugar

1 tsp red wine vinegar

1 tsp vanilla

Chopped nuts (optional)


Directions:

  1. Oven to 375

  2. Melt butter and chocolate slowly in a pot. When melted, set aside.

  3. Sift flour, baking powder and salt

  4. Beat eggs and sugar together

  5. Stir in chocolate mixture

  6. Add dry ingredients, vinegar and vanilla

  7. Put into a greased pan

  8. Sprinkle nuts and press on top

  9. Bake at 375 for 25 min

  10. When a little cool, square the brownies


*This recipe calls for 16 brownies. I always double the recipe and put powdered sugar on top when cooled
